The Outsiders

The Outsiders is a pivotal coming-of-age story that I was thrilled to help bring to life. Working with the director’s vision, I established a more natural and worn-in color scheme for the greasers, referencing period-accurate photographs and Coppola’s timeless film. This quickly became one of my favorite projects, allowing me the freedom to work with students to create their vision through character analysis.

Character Styling

Nature's first green is gold

Her hardest hue to hold

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour

Then leaf subsides to leaf

So Eden sank to grief

So dawn goes down to day

Nothing gold can stay.
